The DSL is located within the Department of Psychology at the University
of Oregon in Eugene. In the broadest sense, our research focuses
on
the social, biological, and psychological processes that shape children's
development. We are particularly interested in how these processes
interact with each other over time to foster positive outcomes or
to place children at risk for problems in adaptation. Within
the DSL,
there are a number of specific projects underway, each of which is
described in greater detail under "Current Research."
