SWORP Organization
SWORP is organized in the manner shown by the table below. Series 1 and 2 are paper manuscripts from the two main repositories mined by researchers. Series 3 is all materials, regardless of media, that relate to the potlatches. Series 4 contains the microfilms ordered from the National Archives and National Anthropological Archives during SWORP I. Series 5 consists of audiotapes from John Peabody Harrington of his interview of Coquille Thompson on the Coquille language. Series 6 consists of photographs from various archives. Series 7 contains maps in large format, some of which have yet to be accessioned into the collection. Series 8 contains the oversize manuscripts that would normally be in series 1 and 2.
