Submitting Your Exercises for Review

To submit your work, you must be logged in as a student in the class.  See the network link to learn how to do that.

The "DropAssignmentsHere" folder is a drop folder. That is, you can copy files to the folder, but you can't modify files that have been "dropped" there. You should also be able to read the contents of the folder to confirm your "drop".

Because of the limited access of this folder you can't work from it and you can't save files to it from VectorWorks. Instead, you must save your work elsewhere, as in your personal "StudentWork" folder, and then COPY & PASTE the file to the "DropAssignmentsHere" folder.

While in VectorWorks, save your work in your student folder.

When you think you are done, be sure the file naming convention is as requested (i.e. "<Last Name>-Ex1.mcd", etc.), and then copy & paste the file or folder to be submitted to the DropAssignmentsHere folder.

You can look to see that the file has been saved, but once it's there you can't modify it. Be sure you get it right the first time.

If for some reason you need access to the files in the "DropAssignmentsHere" folder, see me.

The nature of a drop folder is that you "drop" things in it when you are done.  You will not be able to read files you drop there, so be sure to COPY & PASTE (NOT CUT & PASTE) your data when you are all done with an assignment.
