Nicholas Jew (B.A. 2003, University of California Santa Barbara; M.A. 2007 University of Alaska) is a doctoral student in the archaeology program. He is interested in prehistoric maritime adaptive technologies in coastal and island societies. He has worked on Rapa Nui and in Alaska and his current research interest is in the western Aleutian Islands.
