Ann G. Simonds (Ph.D., 1964, UC-Berkeley) has a courtesy appointment at UO. Ann G. Simonds is currently working on the professional correspondence of Franz Boas for two projects: one on the development of his understanding of the social organization of the Kwakiutl, and the other on Boas’ 1895 work on myth and cultural interrelationships on the Northwest Coast.
