Part-time, Emeritus, Associated Faculty and Teaching Fellows: Dennis L. Jenkins (B.A., 1979, M.A., 1981, Nevada; Ph.D., 1991, Oregon) is an Archaeologist/Field School Supervisor for the Oregon State Museum of Anthropology/Museum of Natural History, UO. He focuses on Early and Middle Holocene hunter-gatherer foraging strategies; archaeology of the arid and semi-arid western United States with particular emphasis on Great Basin settlement-subsistence patterns, uses of obsidian sourcing and hydration, and prehistoric bead type and distribution analyses.
